Commit the changes made at Toolforge in February 2024 into the repository

I made some changes to the scripts for https://github.com/commons-app/apps-android-commons/issues/5197 - I directly changed  them in production. The changes should be in the repository, and I would like to submit a PR for that sooner than later.
