- Tools server
llama-vscode could use the the tools from the MCP servers, which are installed in VS Code (part of VS Code's Extensions view).
- Install MCP Server in VS Code
- Select "Extensions" view from VS Code,
- Open MCP Servers panel
- Click "Browse MCP Servers" (at the end of the "MCP SERVERS" line)
- Select and install MCP Server
- Start the installed MCP Server
- From the context menu of the MCP Server select "Start Server". VS Code should recognize the tools of the MCP Server.
- Select "Show Llama Agent" from vscode-menu or use Ctrl+Shift+A (if needed select environment with agent/tools support).
- Click "Select Tools" from Llama Agent panel and select the tools, which you want to use from your MCP Server
